I am currently residing in Otter Lake, MI. We purchased an older farm house on 10 acres where the wild life is plenty. I got married on Nov. 6th 2004 (yep during hunting season).I have a daughter, Jorja Dawn, who will be two on May 31 2007. I am currently a Safety Officer on the Deerfield Township Fire Department.
I recently quit my construction job of 2 1/2 years and am currently working with high speed internet.
I had so much fun at the last reunion, and can't wait for this one.

I can't promise Juda aka faceman aka Chris Stomack and I won't be drunk by the time we get off the golf cart again this year.

:) I don't think you'll be the only one who has that problem on the golf cart!

Hello fellow Ubly grads....I stumbled across this blog on the Ubly Schools website....very nice!!

I also wanted to take a second and give you another blog address that I have put together...it's a sports related blog that might help keep our "out of the area" alumni up to date on whats happening with the local sports scene. Once the HS football season gets up and going it will be quite informative. If you get a chance, check it out, the address is:

I know computers were just coming around when we were in school, but are we the only people who know how to type?

Jodi (Morell) Grifka

Since our last reunion I married my husband Derrik in Montego Bay, Jamaica in March 2003 and were accompanied by 32 family members and close friends from the Thumb. We were only there three days when the "pool bar" announced that they ran out of liquor and couldn't keep up with our consumption...go figure!

In April of 2004 we were blessed with a little girl (Tess Anna). I have three step-sons (ages 20,18 and 14) so our house quickly transformed from wrestling matches, x-box and dirt bikes to Princess Videos, Dora and "hurt feelings".

I work for Peruski Insurance Agency in Bad Axe as a personal lines CSR and have been in the insurance industry for nine years.

I am blessed with a healthy family, a job that I enjoy and the opportunity to raise my family in the Ubly area around our family and friends.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the 29Th!

Hi Everyrone ~

So looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks. Since our last reunion, we had another child. That makes three......Ashley 7, Jessica 6, and Andrew 2. We also had a house fire and had to rebuild. We've been in the new house about a year now and loving it. Still living in the same area (Harbor Beach school district......yuk). I've been forced into becoming a Pirate fan. It's funny how life changes. See you all soon.

Hi all. Can you believe the crap my husband writes about. Not the beautiful wife part and the kids part but he training crap. He sure does want to be single again soon. If anyone is doing the training its me and I have to say that I suck at it obviously. I give up! If I had only known:) I know, I know. He's funny and I do love him! AHHHHH Thats so sweet! Ugh!

Anyway to the good stuff. Kids are doing good. Chris is doing well, as you all know. I'm working at the District Court in Bad Axe now. Hopefully until retirement. (I can't believe I even think about retirement now - OLD!)

Can't wait to drink some beers and act like teenagers again. Although, I don't look forward to the next day hangover. Not that I did when I was a teenager either, but now I don't bounce back as quick. Sucks being 34 soon. Yeah I know. OLD! But I figure you all are around there too, so there's no sense in denying it.

Talk to you all soon.

I couldn't help but notice that every story written had some comment about drinking!!! Go Class of '92!

Anonymous said...

Alright, I've been putting this off because I was trying to think of something to brag about. Then I realized I had nothing, so I might as well get started.

Then, it hit me just now, as I sat down to write. I don't need to "brag" about anything. What's wrong with my life just the way it is? Most importantly, I'm still happy after 15 years of marriage (pretty close to 15 anyway). I have 3 great kids who I feel very proud of. Brandon is 12, Nicole is 10, and Brett is 8.

I'm mostly busy just being a mom. The kids play sports, take dance, and play in band, so we're busy running here and there with that. Not a huge social life going on here, but that's okay. I'm happy!!!

I still live in the Ubly area (as most of you know) and I work in a daycare center in Bad Axe. I take care of infants and I truly enjoy it. Maybe it's because it's so easy for me to get down to their level. This is not a height joke people!!! Instead, it's a joke about my mental capacity. Errr, uhhh, what I mean is that babies are way smarter than we give them credit for.

Anyway, that's my life. Maybe Eric's post will glorify us a little more. Maybe not and that's okay because I'm perfectly happy just the way things are. I hope everyone else is too!

BTW, hello to Tom, Jodi, OB, Debbie, Jeff, Chris, Brenda, Rick and anonymous. Where is everyone else? Weren't there like 68ish of us or something?

Come on, speak up you other people. Where's Tracy and Kevin Lipskey, Kevin Dekoski, Turtle, Ken, Kristie, Brad, Angie Muma, Ken, Ray, Michelle Kroetsch, Theresa, Renee, Mark O'Henley, Phil, Dave, Richie, Kyle, Marc, Chrissy, Jenny Lemanski, Angie Stefan, Jurica, Jill, Paul Deo, Amy Gentner, Jenny Klee, Heidi Gleason, Melissa, Jason Bratland, Kevin, Chuck, Mark Klawon, Amy Glaza, Jason Jackson, Christy, Jason Lipskey, Tracy Meredith, Kevin Morell, Amy Grifka, Marlene Jackson, Paul Geiger, Jennifer Gamer, Joe Poleno, Garrett, Ed, Paul Osentoski, Jason Kzinowek, Steve, Skatch, Larry, Jim, Ann, Jenny Kucharczyk, Wendy, Brent, Michelle Smigielski, and I think that's all. Oh yeah, I forgot one. Where's ERIC???

You people are being slackers!!! Come on! Speak up!!!

From, Heidi (I had a sign-in name, but forgot my password).

Hi everyone
I am currently still living in Ubly on my Grandpa's farm. I haven't farmed in many years, but still live on the farm. I have been employed at Gemini Plastics in Ubly since 1993. I have been a toolmaker there since 1996. Since Heidi already expained all the family B.S., I will not type that all out again. I am once again coaching youth football ( for the fifth straight season) and loving it. I also coach youth baseball in the spring. Between coaching and working, I stay very busy.

In response to Beaver and the golfing, Maybe we should all try to at least finish golfing this year. If I remember right, some of us only played part of the course. I wonder why????

Hope to see a great turnout Homecoming weekend.

Hi there everyone!
Wow, 15 years....the time sure does fly by!
I still live in Jeddo, which is about 10 miles East of Yale or 15 minutes NW of Port Huron. Paul and I have been married for 12 years...together for 17!!! That's almost half of my life!! And I have to say we are as happy now as we were then (can someone say mushy?!)
We have 3 handsome lads...Zachary 10, football player and loves all things x-games, Gabriel 6 sensitive, loves dinosaurs and Colton 4, he's just a big ol brute of a boy, and loves everything!
I'm still at home taking care of everyone while doing a few design things on the side here and there with a current obsession with interior design...I may have to make a career change in the near future...
Paul is still an electrician at Chrysler in Warren and is coaching Zachary's 3rd year in football.
Someone mentioned drinks....class of '92 favorite pastime!
Can't wait to see everyone soon!!!

Glad to see everyone is pretty much doing the same things in life...working and having kids. That pretty much sums up the last 15 yrs for us. To anyone that has a different story to tell... I'm jeleous! I'm laughing my butt off at some of these comments...especially the ones coming from those of you that married someone from the class of 92!!!

Since the last reunion, things pretty much have stayed the same for me. I continue to work as an Environmental Engineer for the consulting firm, Malcolm Pirnie and continue to date Ken (it’s over 7 years now). But, hey, why rush into anything? We currently do not live together (must be that Catholic girl in me), but that’s about to change :).

I recently moved after seven years to a 2-bedroom townhouse rental and am really happy there. No kids (yet), but I have a 3 yr-old kitty, Smokey, and Ken has a 5yr-old hound/border collie mix named Bandit, so when the planets align it will be Ken and I and Smokey and the Bandit (we planned it that way).

I’m also a part-time independent Arbonne Consultant because I love their products and the people involved in this organization (and my skin looks a hell of a lot better than it did at the last reunion). Ken continues to work for M&M Distributing, which distributes my favorite Anheuser-Busch products (yeah beer!). My favorite time of the year is fall when I and my extended family, Brad and Steve, tailgate to our hearts delight for those Spartans. Through the ups and downs of our lovely team, we come back every year and have the best of times, some with stories that will not be repeated here :).

Have traveled to Hawaii with Brad and Steve for the MSU vs. Hawaii game (let’s not discuss the game, okay?) and had, to say the least, a most memorable time – and yes the stories cannot be repeated here.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Ok, lets try this again! For those of you that have a different story to tell...I'm JEALOUS! There, that looks better! Dah! Did I mention I graudation with honors from UHS? Ha-Ha!

OK, I guess it's my turn!

I love hearing everyone elses funny stories! I'm still working full time at SVSU doing computer training and course design. We have 3 daughters and they keep us very busy. Someday we will get a dog, but I can't handle that much responsibility :)

We have been married for 9 years (tomorrow). Renee, we were going out for 8 years before getting married, so you still have a while to go :)

It amazes me how kids of the same parents can be so different, Sarah is very high-strung and bossy - she loves horses and is smart as a whip! McKenna is very easy-going and loves everything - free spirit. Rachel is still a baby, but lets her dislikes be known by throwing herself on the floor and likes be known by squealing at the top of her lungs! Love them all to death!

Really jealous of all of you who have traveled to Hawaii! Maybe by the next reunion we'll have done that ... or maybe a cruise.... Jeff??

I'm feeling that a massage and facial might be a little safer than a golf cart right now! And, no matter how much you drink, you don't have to be vertical to do those things! Ahhhh!

So with reading everyone else comments about there careers I realized I forgot that and where we are living sooooooo....

I currently am a pimp in the Minden City Area I have 5 hoes currently working for me. Business has been slow so we have put off remodeling our two story card board box in the Palms area...My part time job in "Full figured porn" has also been a little slow although I do hear the Skinny porn market is booming though, guess I will have to go on a diet....

Seriously though I am an Associate Designer for Walbro Engine Management in Cass City. I have been there for 12yrs now. I design fuel systems for lawn mowers, weedwackers, chain saws, snowmobiles, atvs, motorcycles, and marine applications. I enjoy it alot, which shows with being there for 12yrs. Brenda and I have purchased my mom and dads house in Tyre Heights and I am current Mayor of Tyre.

And these are the stories of Facemans life....

Hello everyone,
I love reading everyone’s stories. Can't wait to see all of you in a few weeks.
I am still living in the Harbor Beach area (yes, Jenny, I have also been forced to become a Pirate). Jeff and I have been married for 11 years now and together for 14-WOW how time flies. We have three beautiful children- Allison 6, Kaylee 4, and Kyle 10months.
I am still working at Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe. I have been an OB nurse for 9 years now and love it. I also teach for St. Clair nursing program and teach some of the LPN clinicals at the hospital.
So, overall, I am very busy being a Mom, a school Mom, and working but am very happy and content. I can't wait to party with you all- we don't get out very often as I'm sure is the same for most of you so I look forward to any entertainment.

Hey guys,

Kevin and I just celebrated our 11th Anniversary in June. Where the heck does the time go? Heidi, I love your post. We all leave high school with stars in our eyes, thinking we need to be Somebody. A wonderful husband and two kids later, I am more than happy to just be mom and "the wife".

For those of you who don't know, I work in the Business Office at the school. I was also just chosen as a Core Founder for GemStyle, a brand new jewelry company, so that's where my excitement's been lately. I hope to build my business to the level that will allow me to leave the day job. Anyone want to have a party? Hee Hee.

Kevin's been at CKS in Bad Axe for 13 years now. He loves being daddy and likes to play golf now and then. Other than that, we're boring old people too, running with kids for the most part.

We won't be able to be at dinner for the reunion (grandparents leave for Florida and we have X-Mas the same day), but are hoping to get there for drinks later! By then, you should all be VERY HAPPY!

Hey everybody. It's Mark O.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Unfortunately I won't be able to make the reunion this year but I thought I would get everyone caught up on what I've been doing. (Especially since Heidi called me out in her post)

Since the last reunion I got married to the wonderful girl that I brought with me to the 10 year reunion. Her name is Mimi and we just had our 3rd anniversary last month. We don't have any kids, but are the proud guardians of 3 cats. One of them is transplanted from Bad Axe so it reminds me of home whenever I look at her. We got married in Chicago and most of my family made the trek to the windy city for the ceremony. Chicago didn't know what hit it when a bus load of Huron County citizens arrived. It was a good time had by all.

I've been working for the last 8 years at the same architectural firm, Aria Group Architects, working mostly on different restaurants. I have one restaurant that is going to open in Clinton Township, MI next month on Hall Rd. It's called PF Chang's and if anybody is in the area they should check it out. I get to travel to all sorts of exotic cities for my job like Freehold New Jersey and Huntsville Alabama! It's definitely interesting.

Mimi and I bought a house last year in a suburb of Chicago and moved out of the big city. Now instead of being surrounded by prostitutes and other lively city people we are surrounded by parents with kids. Our house is 80 years old and we've been working on it here and there. It's amazing how much stuff you can work on once you get started.

I can't believe it's been 5 years since our last reunion. I hope everyone has a good time and have a drink for me.

Cheers - Mark O'Henley

Hi Eric, Theresa, Renee, Debbie, Wendy, Tracy, Dave, and Mark!!! I am having so much fun reading these. Thanks for understanding me Tracy! Whoah….twins for Dave. Scary!!! lol And congratulations to Mark (even though I’m 3 years late). So sorry to hear some of you can’t make it to the reunion though. Bummer.

So here’s my list at this point. You’ll see I deleted some, but there’s a lot of them we still need to hear from. Seriously people. I want to hear from people I never even hung around with. What are you people doin’? I know many of you are reading, but not posting. But why??? Come on! Bite the bullet and say hi to all of us brave enough to take on the blog!!!

Where's Kevin Dekoski, Turtle, Ken, Kristie, Brad, Angie Muma, Ken, Ray, Michelle Kroetsch, Phil, Richie, Kyle, Marc, Chrissy, Jenny Lemanski, Angie Stefan, Jurica, Jill, Paul Deo, Amy Gentner, Jenny Klee, Heidi Gleason, Melissa, Jason Bratland, Chuck, Mark Klawon, Amy Glaza, Jason Jackson, Christy, Jason Lipskey, Tracy Meredith, Kevin Morell, Amy Grifka, Marlene Jackson, Paul Geiger, Jennifer Gamer, Joe Poleno, Garrett, Ed, Paul Osentoski, Jason Kzinowek, Steve, Skatch, Larry, Jim, Ann, Jenny Kucharczyk, Brent, Michelle Smigielski, and I think that's all.

Hello everyone! My update is similar to everyone else's. Since the last reunion, we have had two more children. That brings the current total to four. Yes, I said four!! Two boys and two girls. Wyatt - 7 yrs, Madyson - 5 yrs, Lane - almost 4, and Savannah - 15 months.

I have also quit working at the CPA firm I was at, and started my own tax and accounting business at home. We guarantee higher refunds in exchange for a night of babysitting. Just kidding!! Scott is still running the family dairy farm.

I had to smile at OB and Wendy's comment about the Pirate's fans because I can't get used to our mascot.. The Pioneers. The kids all have sweatshirts for school, but I just can't bring myself to buy one yet. I just wear my trusty MSU one to the football games here. Go Green!!

Hi Everyone. Although Heidi did not include me in her "hit list", nor did I have the pleasure of actually graduating with all you, I am so excited to be invited!! I missed the last reunion, but am happy to say I will be home this weekend.

I am still in Columbus, living the big city single life. No children, but I do share my house with two cats. I work for a distribution company that imports collegiately licensed products. I manage the licensing, purchasing and logistics aspects of the business; and was fortunate enough to join this company just as it was taking off.

Can't wait to see all of you this weekend!

Hi all,

I tried posting earlier today but it didn't work so if the same story comes up twice you know why.

I just couldn't help but comment on everyone's stories of the not-so-fabulous life. I too am absolutely happy and content being nothing more than "JUST A MOM". We live in the country on our farm and enjoy the quiet life. We even have a white picket fence! It's by the barn, the paint is starting to chip and it's a little crooked. But it's a white picket fence damnit.

And when I need a little adult conversation, I still work at Huron Medical Center in the O.B. dept. (Imagine that!) Mostly part time but I pick up a fair share of hours when i can. I love it.

Keith and I are still happliy married after just over 10 years and we've been together almost 17 years!!

You know there is something to be said for being "JUST A MOM". And for having the ordinary, everyday, same ol same ol, but great marriage. It's something to be proud of!!

See you all soon

Hey guys - a note to the parade people which includes: Jill and Kylee Ogryski; Debbie, Sarah, McKenna, and Rachel Roberts; BRAAAAD (caps lock); Tom and Jorja Beaver; Jenny Grekowicz and guest (oooohhhhh!); Kristie, Scott, Wyatt, Madyson, Land and Savannah Lamb; Paul and Theresa Messing; Heidi and Eric Sweeney; and Michelle (Smigielski) Genis;

Parade starts at 5:30pm need to be at the float by 5:00pm, probably by the school. We've secured the people mover used at Jill's wedding (i.e. a wagon with seats - so no hay, yeah!). And no we will not be resurrecting the infamous "Run for the Border" float (wah-wah....what a dud that was).

Anyways, some of use will be gathering before the parade to put some signs up. I have about 20 lighted black/orange pom-poms (I couldn't help myself).

Most important of all - WEAR YOUR UBLY GEAR!! I'm breaking out the ol' varsity jacket myself (what a geek).

Kristie - love your school spirit for both Ubly and MSU! - what a die-hard!

Heidi Sweeney said...

Hi Jenn, OB, and Renee.

Sorry I left you out Jenny. I didn't mean to. I referred to our senior yearbook and totally forgot about you and Jackie as well. Not that you're not just as important!!! So glad we will see you Friday night. BTW, it sounds like you are doing very well. I love it!

OB, you and Wendy should come and bring your kids for the parade. Tell Melissa to come too! It would be fun getting our kids together. Even though Renee's post doesn't say it, we are bringing our youngest two. Our oldest thinks it sounds "retarded". Can you believe I have one that is "at that age" already? Please, do come. It would be fun!

Hi Renee. Pom poms!!!!! hahahaha I love it! Also, Brad and I are getting together around 2:30 Friday to put the signs and balloons up. We're doing this at Jill's house. Anyone is welcome, but if no one can make it, it's ok because it only takes a couple of people for that anyway.

Okay, that's all for now.

I hope to be watching the parade from my moms house so if you hear a cat call...it's just me!

Ok
Heidi Sweeney has called me out twice now, so I guess I'll write a little something.
I too have enjoyed reading everyone's comments. Can't beleive it has been 15 yrs already. There are some days it feels like yesterday that we were all in school. I'm still living in Minden City, Keith and I have been married for 10 yrs and have two children. Michael 5 (who started kindergarten this year) and Hailey 3 (who started her first day of preschool Tuesday, did not go well). Keith is still working on the family farm and I have been working for Farm Bureau Insurance for the last 8 3/4 years. Just recently I have left the Harbor Beach office and am now working in the County office in Bad Axe.
After reading some of these, it's amazing to think how many of us are still in the area and rarely see each other, except for the odd sighting in a local store.
(Which by the way Kristie is where you can purchase a sweatshirt that says "Once a bearcat always a bearcat").
I don't think we will make it to the reunion as I lost track of time and didn't get the R.S.V.P. sent in in time (Keith will be sorry he missed talking to so many State fans, since the kids and I tend to go the other way.)
Maybe next time....

Heidi

Anonymous said...

Okay, Heidi (Gleason) Mausolf - fes up and tell us what "local store" you are talking about. I want one of those Bearcat sweatshirts!

Also, Heidi - we have room at the reunion for you and Keith yet - just show up between 6-7pm and pay us then!

Anonymous said...

Okay, me again guys :). Just wanted to let y'all know that anyone who hasn't RSVP'd back for the reunion can still join us. Just bring a check if they want dinner or arrive around 8:30 pm to party the rest of the night with us.

Also, anyone can participate in the parade with us. Forgot to mention that we are throwing candy to the crowd too (Jodi - get your bag ready!).

And lastly - BRRRAAAADDDD is having a party in his garage for the Class of '92 after the game on Friday (you know like the old days?). It's BYOB.

And I got a sneak peak at the reunion booklet - you won't want to miss this chance to get your copy. It's awesome!

Hi Class of 1992!! Guess it's my turn to update everyone on me. It's been great reading about everyone, I hope this site stays going after the reunion too.
Not much has changed since the last reunion. Dale and I are still living just south of Harbor Beach, (hopefully for not much longer, the house has been up for sale the last 1 1/2 years). We celebrated our 13th anniversary in August. Still two kids, Brianna is 9 1/2 and Robert is 8. Keeping us busy running to baseball, soccer and dirt biking throughout the year.
I'm working for an insurance company in Harbor Beach and still selling real estate (wish I could make a profit, the market is sooo slow. Anyone want to move back to the area??)Dale is still with the Gemini group, only in a different office. He says Hi to Kenny and Kevin.
Unfortunately, we will not be at the reunion. We planned a last get-a-way up north before it got too cold to get some riding in. Hope you all have a great time and have a drink for me.

Hi Bearcats! It's the one Amy G. that's still Amy G.

It's been so fun to read everyone's stories! I'm looking forward to the reunion and seeing pictures of all the '92 Offspring!

As for me, I'm enjoying life in Midland with my husband, Jeremy (big MSU fan), and our extremely spoiled yellow lab. Jeremy and I were married in June of '05 in the Dominican Republic. Like Jodi, our group enjoyed the tropical drinks as well!

While I'm jealous of the career opportunities Chris has found in the Minden City area, I manage to keep myself busy as a teacher consultant. Although, it's good to know there are always options out there! : )

Since graduating from UHS, my biggest highlight(other then getting married) has been a visit to Beijing, China. Even though I had always hoped to travel, I never thought I'd actually get to walk on the Great Wall. What an amazing place!

Looking forward to a good time and seeing the reunion booklet. Thanks so much to everyone who has worked to make this reunion happen!

See you soon!

And - yes, we will definitely keep the site up after the reunion - we want to post pics from this reunion, etc!

Jeff had the idea to move us online and is keeping this site up - it turned out to be a pretty cool idea :)

You guys are so funny! The class of 92 rocks!

Yeah! Glad people are still responding! One last "surprise" note about the parade....Debbie has temporary Bearcat paw, ect. tatoos for the kids (and maybe me?). We thought it would be better than painting faces.

Those going to the football game....listen for our announcement after the first quater!

Renne, I will be sure to dig out the Victoria Secret Bag that I made my daughter use all summer for the parade candy...and the egg hunt. It works wonderfully and is stylish too! If I'm gonna send my 3 yr old out on the road to fetch candy then damn it she's gonna look good doing it. Ha-Ha
Since YOU didn't make the homecoming this year, WE have a lot of catching up to do so be ready for lots of laughs! Don't forget to wear something slutty too! Ok, anyways, before I forget, I too want to thank everyone involved in planning this yrs reunion. I must say that it was very organized and the blog was/is a great idea! JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!

Renee,
Of course it's Wal- Mart in Bad Axe, where else would it be?

Hi everyone, it's me moonus. Sorry I could not make it to the reunion. As a farmer we were doing beans and could not make it. Maybe next time. Well not much has changed. I am still married and still living in the area. I have a son connor in 2nd grade and a daughter Haley in preschool. Life is good and hope to see everyone next time.

Well, you missed a lot of fun!

For all you still reading this post area, Jeff will be posting some pics and an additional area where we can continue to leave comments so we don't have to scroll so far down!
